Reginald Kaleo Acasio, 34, of Pearl City, died Oct. 7, 2001. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Nalani; son Kaleo; daughters Kahana and Kona; mother Luana Delapena; father Jesse Acasio; grandparents Henrita Riggan, Yvonne Yuen and Alice DeMello; and brothers Kalani, Lloyd, Lynold, Kermit and Keala. Patrick Y.C.K. Fuller, 31, of Waimanalo, a student at the Labor Union Training Center, died Wednesday (Jan. 20, 1999) in Kaneohe. He was also a carpenter. Keli'i (Ham-Young) Thorpe



Kelii H. Thorp, 31, of San Pedro, Calif., died Tuesday (Nov. 10, 1998) at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Edward E.; children Tiana Noelani and Trevor K. Thorp; mother Geraldine Ham-Young, and brothers Ricky, Warren, Bobo and Shain Ham-Young and Troy Oden. Services on the mainland.


Duane Dupont



Duane A.L. DuPont, 30, of Pearl City died Saturday (Oct. 4, 1997). Born in Honolulu, he is survived by parents Allan and Yvonne; brother Dean; sisters Danielle DuPont, Desiree Ayat and Denise “Keiki” and Deanne DuPont; and grandparents Libert and Rose. Private services.


Kaliko (Araki) Ching



Kim M. “Kaliko” Ching, 29, of Ewa Beach, a co-owner of C.K. Springs and an employee of Hawaii Medical Service Association, died Thursday July 31, 1997 in Queen’s Hospital. Born in Honolulu, she is survived by husband Christopher K.; father Mitchell Araki; mother Rene “Amy” Provines; stepmother Claire Araki and stepfather James Provines; sister Tammie E. Uyechi; grandmother Shizuko Araki; and grandfather Susumu Sodetani. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Call after 8:30 a.m. Private scattering of ashes. Casual attire. Carrie Takenaka



Carrie Lynn Takenaka, age 28 of Honolulu, died Jan. 21, 1996. She was born in Honolulu and was a Health Educator with the State Department of Health and the Life Foundation. She was a graduate of Kamehameha Schools, the University of Washington and received a Masters Degree from the University of Hawaii. She is survived by mother Claire M. Yamashiro; her father Paul L. Takenaka; Claire’s husband Clifford; Paul’s wife Hiromi; grandmothers Vesta M. Takenaka and Eva Mung Lim. She will always be remembered by those who loved her as having a big heart, boundless energy, and a willingness never to quit. Burial: Hawaiian Memorial Park. [SB 29/01/1996]
